Countries with No Income Tax
Countries that do not levy any personal income tax on individuals, making them popular destinations for expats and digital nomads.
A small group of countries levy no personal income tax at all. Most fund their governments through other means instead — oil and gas revenue in the Gulf states (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman), tourism and financial services in the Caribbean (Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Bermuda), or high consumption taxes and fees.
Living in one of these countries does not automatically make you tax-free: most require formal tax residency (often tied to a residence visa or minimum stay), and citizens of countries with citizenship-based taxation — notably the United States — still owe tax at home regardless of where they live.
