Monaco levies corporate tax (Impôt sur les Bénéfices - ISB) at 25% on companies that derive more than 25% of their turnover from activities outside Monaco. Companies conducting business exclusively within Monaco are generally exempt. The rate aligns with French corporate tax rates under the 1963 convention.

New businesses benefit from a phased introduction: 25% exemption in year 1, 50% in year 2, 75% in year 3, 100% from year 4 onwards (on qualifying income). Monaco has limited tax treaties and does not participate in the EU tax framework. However, Monaco has signed up to the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS) for automatic exchange of financial information.
